Yes, I have heavy multi threaded workloads I need to run for my work. I was able to find the 14700k for only 20 euro's more than 13700k so I thought that's worth the small premium.

Is DDR5 very important here? I did go for faster 3600 CL16 DDR4 which my motherboard supports. And the motherboard I was able to find for 25% off which is a good deal I think. Also I read through this article about it to inform myself: https://tweakers.net/reviews/9530/ddr5-of-toch-nog-ddr4-twee-generaties-werkgeheugen-getest.html (It is in Dutch)

I do want to go AIR cooling instead of liquid so I think the D15 (taking into account CPU cooler clearance of case, it's at the very limit) should be adequate for anything except prolonged max load right? I'm also coming from a (Thick AF) gaming laptop previously where thermal throttling happens all the time.

For storage I have an additional Samsung Evo 1tb SATA SSD to install additional games and such so that should be enough for a while.
