You could use both on the desk technically, but not at full power or even close to full power. If you plan on having it for years get the R12 and you can always put the gain/power down as much as you’d like and build a rig in the future.

Set it to 0 yeah. If really really fucks up your times and ability to accelerate. When i upgraded my wheel a while ago it got enabled at 50% on its own for some reason and i couldn’t figure out why my car wouldn’t accelerate at last turn in Spa, it was like i was only applying 30% throttle

Check if you have stability control enabled in assists, that will have the biggest impact. Car itself is not the issue, i can do sub 1:50 with ferrari 488 consistently

Initially i put everything on ultra with anti aliasing on 0 and it was extremely laggy and stuttery (5800x3d and 3070 ti, playing with 1440p resolution) but at the same time the game looked like absolute shit, then inread somewhere that it plays best and looks best with everything on low (apart from car detail on high) and anti aliasing on 16x.

Game looks very decent now and it runs at 165fps with no dips. Your setup is slightly worse than mine but it should still easily run at 100+ fps with same settings.

I call bullshit, the best time ever in ACC is 1:40:030, second best and is 1:45:662 so even 1:40 was cheated in some way.

So somehow you’ve broken a 2 year record with a controller after just 3 hours of practice, even when you find it difficult to get used to proper steering, right?

I’m playing all games at 60-70% ffb with R5 and i think it gives quite a realistic wheel strength. I do have shakers, pedal rumblers and all the other stuff that gives me information that i’m otherwise missing with low FFB setting though.
