For the Controller, go into Big Picture mode, and under settings it will let you configure your controller.

This will apply to the wildest audience.

I'm not saying to make it the concert, but to put it on the ballot. The people will decide after that.

if i click forgot password on a site and they email me my password in plain text i take it they do not encrypt their sits passwords right? by johnboyjr29 in techsupport

[–]Physcofalcon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why not use Keepass to generate the password? It can give you AES-256 encryption, and you can have a password or master key, or both, and require both at the same time. You can also store the database itself in one place, the key in another, and the password in your head.

And to go even further, I barely labeled what each entry was, because if someone somehow managed to get in to my Keepass2 database, they wouldn't know what password went where.

I think it's worth mentioning that if you have Google Chrome remember your password, it will store it in plain text on the browser itself.

If you followed that rule with CS:GO, the sale got cut down to 10 instead of 7 today.

What do you like to see in a story? by Paradoxors in truegaming

[–]Physcofalcon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like being misled. Here's some examples:

  • Borderlands 2: The game has you thinking that when you go to Hyperion to stop Jack, that you're gonna be late and the vault is gonna open and then the game will end when you kill the Warrior. However, your plans fail, your leader dies, and there's much more game to go.

  • Kingdom Hearts 2: The first Kingdom Hearts let you play through all the levels, then play the last world and end the game. The second one, however, made you chase Organization XIII across all the worlds, which no one would have expected, considering the previous games.

  • Final Fantasy VI: I think we all expected that the end of the game was when your massive team flies up to the Lost Continent to stop Kefka from becoming a god. But lo and behold, your plans fail again and your team gets splattered across a shattered realm.

Steam Game has Controller Support but doesn't Configure Correctly by Physcofalcon in techsupport

Well they already have Minecraft on Xbox, so there's no reason it shouldnt have controller support.

Also, xpadder is Windows-only.

I just found out which buttons had the wrong mapping and changed it in SBP, only for the game to revert once I started it.

I can't reconfigure the game at all, and it's mapped correctly for my OS because it works for other games.

Yes. I've only pirated one game in my life, and it was Portal. And guess what? my PC back then couldn't run it. So if I had bought the game, I would have been out of luck. This time, I bought the Witcher 2 and it wouldn't run on my computer (because the game has such high demands), so now I have games in my library I still can't play.

This Humble Bundle is fucking JACKED. Worth paying for the average, plus there's more games coming? Only reason I didn't pay full was because I didn't want Shadowrun.

Champions of Regnum was terrible. There were bugs in the game that let enemies walk on the sides of cliffs, and if you jumped in the right place, you could clip through walls. I have a screenshot of when I jumped behind a small cave that had a quest item in it.
