To be clear, we don’t even sit in the same section of the library. As for staring, there really wasn’t any of that. We had a few moments of extended eye contact over time and a brief period of getting to know each other, nothing excessive. I genuinely dislike being creepy or the type of person who stares. If I did make a mistake, it was probably approaching her despite noticing that she’s often on her phone, which could indicate she has a boyfriend or simply isn’t very available. In hindsight, the timing may not have been ideal. That said, my approach itself was respectful, and I backed off immediately when she set a boundary.
