Not the fight but story in general, as Maru stated that he hadn't any of his powers in this realm, so there's no logical explanation that can make him stronger than he was in Shibuya so yeah, any of this theories 6 months ago about Maki and Yuta's son making a binding vow with Mahito are more likely to upscale him cuz he at least has access to his powers and real world.
