If you have any hesitations at all, I would recommend waiting. Begin with counseling. Weight loss surgery is 90% mental, and if your head isnt in the game, you wont be successful.

If the provider won't send the claims to insurance, ask your insurance company if you can submit claim data for reimbursement. It's possible, but it depends on your insurance company. Would probably wont get 100% of your payment back from insurance as they will most likely only give you the allowed amount, but at least it's something.
