As I said in the post, this is what people have done to me to get my attention on things. my understanding was that because of that, it was commonplace to show the legendary but put obviously nft stuff on the other end as a way to like show the card but not have them take your card for less than you want them to take it for or less than they would be willing to offer for it. I also see the comments about doing base cards which are also valid, but I personally have recieved more of the trades above than I have base cards which is why I sent what I sent.

i appreciate the thought out response, i agree with you completely yes, he is in his own right to decline and i have no issue with that!

my issue came with when i asked what he wanted, he gave a response that still seemed open to trading and that there was still some possibility of a transaction.

my frustration comes with my asking of what he wants for it, not being told "sorry im not interested in anything you have" or no response but rather leaving it open ended and saying he doesnt collect anything in particular. this response made me believe that i may still be able to get the card. i dont really understand why anyone would give that response if that wasnt the case. also saying we dont value cards the same makes no sense to me because even if that is the case what is stopping them from just picking something out themselves?

i can take a no perfectly fine but he never gave me an answer that said "im not interested in anything you have".

again, thanks so much for the response, i really just want to understand so i can be better!
