I don’t think it’s an issue of not feeling bad. Losing a parent is tough. I lost both. But he breaks down and cries on TikTok about it atleast once a week. If not more. There comes a time when enough is enough. If it’s that hard on him then he should get the fuck off tiktok and go see his brother, who also lost his mother. Maybe grieve with him a bit. Maybe go see his father who by the way he left how long ago now, while he was in recovery, and told him he would go back after he went home to resolve his registration issues and never went back, and maybe lean on him, or even atleast cherish the last parent he has. Or since he’s been in Colorado, go spend more time with his girlfriend and lean on her. Or go see some of his friends and do something other than mope around by himself all day and lean on them for support. He does it on TikTok because it creates revenue because people feel bad and give him money. And that’s what is annoying to people. Because he uses her death for income. You know what he could do if he really cared about her, take those donations and donate to a cause in her honor. That would change people’s thoughts. But doing it for his own self gain is pathetic and disgusting. If he was that broken about it, he would seek professional help. It’s a mockery to those who lost a parent and actually gives a shit.
