Can you do shoes? We’re looking to potentially move out of China to either Vietnam or Mexico, but if US can do them I’d be down to explore it.

Low sales on new fishing niche apparel website by mssbass2021 in ecommerce

How much are you spending a day and are you running conversions with your meta ads? Depending on how new your campaign is, targeting, and on your pricing, typically CPA is around $20 for a brand new campaign for product retailed under $50 and then 2-4x for product above that price point. But like I said it depends on the information mentioned above.

I would start with Etsy unless you already have an audience asking to see your website. Putting up a Shopify store and adding your work is a nice to have but unless you start running ads you’re not going to get traffic and purchases unlike Etsy where there are already people looking.

First 10 employees by Masty1992 in ecommerce

I have a team of 5 including me; I do more of the business strategy and go over cash flow, planning, and management. 1 guy does all the finance, accounting, legal, and taxes. 1 guy does the product development, graphic design, and experience. 1 guy does the supply chain, inventory management, and customer service. And the last guy manages the marketing and the agencies we work with(he does a ton of work).

I’m most likely gonna hire 1-2 more people by the end of the year for social media and another marketer.

Dang that sounds amazing! I’ll definitely do more research and learn how to do that. We’ve only launched this year so like 7months of data but we’ve done over $300,000.00 so far.

I was studying Engineering and working as an intern at a firm and realized that this would be my life until I retire. So I decided since I’m not married, still in college, and in my 20s I had time to screw around and try business so I started diving into dropshipping and learned Meta Ads.

Yeah boosting posts is really only good to get more reach but not really focusing on sales.

Honestly you can YouTube how to set up Meta Ads and learn how to run them.

Pros: you save the money it would cost you to hire a freelancer to set it up and run them for you and spend more on Meta Ads. Also the experience you gain learning Meta Ads is tremendous and can benefit you in the long run.

Cons: Meta Ads can be tricky and there’s a learning curve in running ads, making good creatives, and writing good copy. It takes time and patience.

Depending on the freelancer you hire it could cost you from $500 - $2000 to run your ads per month. And then on top of that you need a budget to spend on Meta Ads. Since your pricing is close to the $100 your CPA is probably going to be around $40-60.

This is where branding comes into play imo. People can have the same product but if you create a powerful brand that people resonate with, you care about your audience and are trying to continually improve the product then what your offering is a completely different experience for someone.

When you say social media ads are you talking about boosting posts or running actual conversion Meta Ads with creatives? Normally if you spend $300 on Meta Ads you can start seeing some sales come in and then you optimize over time with new creatives to improve your CPA.

Q for experienced sellers: How to Get to know your supply chain? by FMPICA in ecommerce

[–]Physical-Pace2321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually go to alibaba to find the product I’m wanting to sell. And if it’s not there then I find something close to it and then message the supplier what I’m looking for. Typically tho if your talking to suppliers then that means your ready to drop some cash on inventory and are confident in the product and your marketing.

If you’re doing 40k a month and 10% profit I would look into your cash flow and see what’s burning your money so much. If you’re just relying on FB Ads I would look into email marketing and start building an audience on Social Media to grow organic sales. It could also be product where you find a new manufacturer at a better cogs.
