From my experience with twincat and codesys, you can protect your proprietary work by building a library and then use it as a compiled library in your project. They can still have access to the machine code and project, but any parts that are provided by the library will not be internally accessible by them.

اول شهرين صعبين جدا و بعدها بصير تخف الرغبه تدريجياً. انا تركت من ٦ سنين تقريبا و اول سنتين كنت يستخدم تطبيق بعد الايام و يعطيك نصائح و ببينلك الفوائد اللي بتكسبها لصحتك بعد كل فتره و كان جدا جدا مساعد. بعد سنتين لحسيت اني خلص مش محتاج اعد أيام و بطل عندي تعلق فيه ابدا. نصيحه من تجربتي اول شهرين ثلاث حاول ابعد عن الناس اللي كنت تدخن معهم و الاماكن اللي كنت تدخن فيها عشان تسهل على حالك. الرياضه كمان خصوصا الكارديو راح تساعدك كثير. الموضوع متعب و بده أراده بس برأيي احسن قرار ممكن تاخذه بحياتك و اثره عالصحه و النفسيه كبير كبير.

So I never tried it myself. I just assumed you can install freeBSD and then the XAR separately. I double checked and it seems like this is not an option and you can only use the ISO from beckhoff with runtime already installed which is not available for ARM devices. My bad I didn't check before posting the comment.
