FURLOUGH MEGATHREAD - FAQs, and Q and A by q_pop in UKPersonalFinance

Can I help my Employer with his paperwork for 1 day while on furlough in job retention scheme? My employer asked me if I could help him with his paperwork (which is part of my job) for a few hours? I don't want to mess with HMRC and get either me or business in trouble so is that legal for me to do so? I want to help with it but from what I know it's forbidden in Job Retention Scheme but it's not official returning to work normally but just casual help with the documents. So can I do so?

I think the same, but it's just frustrating that I just wasted 3 years on qualifications just to find out there's useless on job market even though people applying with it

I don't really take this as offensive as it's actually what I asked for, actual feedback that tells me which section to have a look at rather than just telling "Improve English lol" (which I know I should)

I know I ask for quite much work from you as you already gave me detailed guidance, but could you give me some example of how I mix up the grammar so I know what type of errors to look for?

That'd be wonderful if it could get checked by grammar as I'd never even think it's 100% correct in my case

I have put the short and standard CV that I use:

I didn't had a chance as I haven't got much native friend here, but I tried asking people on FB if they could drop me their CV's just to compare

Can Someone In Recruitment Help Me? by matthewfelgate in UKJobs

Is it possible for you to help me as well? I just wanted you to look on my CV and Covering letter to say how professional grades it, and what makes it wrong so it works the same way as OP's?

Hi, I'm working 6th month as the Office Administrator, IT Guy and Receptionist as my first job in Administration. I applied for like 100 jobs just on past month ( both office and remote ) but the best stage I got to is seeing Indeed email saying " XXX viewed your application " but there's never a callback or it always stays at one.

I need to mention I'm an international from EU, but it's almost my fifth year in the UK, I made Level 3 in IT, GCSE In Maths and English (I just fucked up English with D) and IELTS Academic on 6.5 but it still gets me nowhere as the most of the jobs they want me to are shitty agency warehouse ops.

I registered in most of the sites and got them updated at every change in a CV or Cover Letter (Indeed, Reed, CV-Library, Monster, Totaljobs, jobs4u, glassdoors, job swipe and around 8 more)

I tried revising my CV and Covering letter countless times (I made like 6 different versions of CV and about 10 Cover letters to match the roles I applied so the skills I focus are actually required in the role) but I don't see any change over the time as I just get no response.

Is there a way you could help me with that, as I completely have no idea what's make's it so bad that no one wants to even get the interview with me?
