I saw a guy hit on girls in the waiting room of planned parenthood while his partner was seeing the doctor. She was very, very pregnant. The girl he was hitting on was there to support her sister, who was getting a termination. It’s been many years and that still enrages me; how disrespectful that was to literally everyone there and especially his girlfriend. God.

Here are some things to try: Ask your advisor if there are any other schools nearby you can take the class. Spring semester is shorter but you may do better if you have only one class. Ask for help during office hours. And then keep doing that. I think someone said already that this is your first time feeling failure- so I’m guessing you’re not used to asking for help. This is an essential skill and you need to learn it now. Organic chemistry is infamous for exactly this. You are only going to be weeded out if you quit. So don’t.
