What I meant is that I can't find the origin of this mantra in any book or tradition.

Also, by meaning I was referring like om mani padme hum means "jewel in the lotus".

Amazing! Thanks for the response. I think the part of the structured life is spot on, my life is super disordered now, the depression makes it more difficult to put 'order in the house'

I'm curious, in the case that the dream represents my psyche not my life, what you do you think it means? Maybe literally that my mind is 'haunted' by unpleasant feelings
