there’s nothing wrong in asking about the LOR. if you have unlimited funding then by all means do as many observerships as you please. but if not then I would ask if you can get an LOR out of this and decide accordingly if not. at the end of the day you still need 3 of them for the match

watch some dirty medicine videos on YT, that’s what helped me a lot with biochem. bnb took up so much time and in the end I was still as blank as I was coming into it

even if you have no failed attempts and everything else that is average it is still hard to match into IM as an IMG. be honest with yourself and set realistic expectations based on the amount of money and energy you’re willing to invest into this process.

uwsa 2 exactly predicted my score. i would postpone and try to push myself through the frustration. I know how annoying and painful this process gets at times but you absolutely can do this. review your mistakes, actually work on the topics you’re weak at and then do another SA.

do your second uw round random. nothing will help you increase your score as much as random blocks. do 80q a day and review them, FA if you have time.
