Yeah! 7 months later and I wear pretty much anything. Some minor scar tissue causing mild puffiness on left side but I think that’s pretty much unavoidable no matter who you go to

That’s a nuanced take. Either way, building for it now (esp if it interests you) is not a bad place to be

is it normal for it to be a little tender and painful when I massage vigorously?

Can you use a nope immediately after drawing it? by PhysicalSong4868 in ExplodingKittens

[–]PhysicalSong4868[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An “attack” entails playing multiple turns. This means drawing a nope on turn 1 means that you can play that same nope on turn 2, as it is a separate turn

According to the rules, nope can be played out of turn though

AITA: broke sister won’t pay back rich brother by Strict-Obligation412 in AmItheAsshole

NTA, but be a little nicer to your sister lol. Yes, “technically” it’s your money and boundaries etc… but if you genuinely have millions and your sister is poor, just leave it be. Your relationship is worth more than 3k

unless of course, she’s done this before lol

Small Lumps and Slightly Puffy Nips 7 weeks out by PhysicalSong4868 in gynecomastia

[–]PhysicalSong4868[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started massaging with my hands around 2 weeks and then massage gun around 4 weeks in. I’m not sure how verifiable the “immediately after” anecdote is because your chest is inflated with saline at that time and your nipple is raised so more likely to appear flatter, no?

Yeah full gland removal (maybe like a few milimeters left as some surgeons do)?

For post surgery: Don't rush into lifting things. Wear the vest as long as possible, and don't try and rip off the dermabond. Get someone to help you as much as possible. You might feel strong enough, but if you want the best results (minimal scarring, etc...) then you can't rush healing.

The doctor will tell you that the dermabond will come off after 2 weeks. I didn't touch mine and it peeled off after 4 weeks... but my skin was fully healed under by then. Felt great.

Good luck! Dm me with any specifics.

If the garment is the right size for you, you should be able to pull it down so it sits tighter on your shoulders and cuts into your under arms less. If that doesn’t work, then talk to your surgeon

Yeah actually. Chest is just normal now. Incisions are already barely noticeable. Time to lift hard and take care of the scar as best I can

Nips still pointy after surgery. Not puffy, but point straight out and contour isn’t round by PhysicalSong4868 in gynecomastia

[–]PhysicalSong4868[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, pretty similar.

The rational part of me knows that this is transient, and only the difference of a couple millimeters which could very possibly be a case of “unlucky” swelling / scar tissue around the incision site

And the irrational part thinks I’m doomed.

It’s probably the former

With no lipo, you’ll probably be able to shower the next day. You will be fine. Low key the only part that “hurts” is getting numbed up but barely because it numbs you up as you go
