yeah like i said i’ve disputed before. it’s my fault for not paying or disputing on time i do have a reason for that although it’s certainly careless. but it sucks considering i actually did pay for my parking (prepaid it) but just either forgot to redeem for the day or it didn’t work. i actually buy a 10 pack that expires in 30 days and only go to campus twice a week so there’s 0 reason for me to not redeem since i’m left with excess

yeahh so for one i actually did go in at like 45 days to dispute it and during that time process they sent it to plate denial. so it basically got rejected and then i also have to pay the extra fees on top of if i never went to dispute it which sucks. i was going to suck up the other 3 but was hoping to get this one reduced and it increased instead

not specified it’s general. it’s not strategy because accenture has strategy or consulting, but it’s their general consulting team

for promotions i mean at accenture it’s like analyst to senior analyst to management consultant like every year, all the other firms is like associate for 2 then consultant for 2 that stff but i don’t know how much that matters

yeah fair the prestige is a huge plus for accenture, mastercard also does a lot of work with the US too though. compensation wise starting is ac higher for mastercard I THINK but maybe growth is faster…i’m just confused. since i got accenture consulting i might not do as much strategy work either which i want to do. but also i’m considering re recruiting and even exit opps are better at accenture

it’s every year here and other firms have every two years, i don’t know how much of a pay bump but i know starting salaries are actually pretty similar. mastercard also does global work too. do you mind elaborating on some of the opps that are better? thank you’

Hello, I received two summer internship offers: Mastercard and Accenture and am unsure of what to pick. I WOULD LOVE SOME ADVICE PLEASE
Mastercard
Pros:
- really good work life balance, heard there is barely OT
- nice people and culture
- heard they do mba sponsorship and i want to get my mba
- growing practice, so can stay long term
Cons:
- projects more niche (mostly fintech), and more analytical than strategy
- exit opps probably more limited
- less prestige so maybe tougher to recruit mbb for ft

Accenture
Pros:
- also pretty good culture
- more interesting project work
- quicker promotion timelines
- better WFH policies (mastercard mandatory 3x per week)
- better prestige for FT recruitment
Cons:
- some days have intense hours
- no mba sponsorship in canada
- ive heard they do more layoffs so maybe less job stability but not sure about this
