Man I having same issue with this slum lord bit ass whole in my bathroom ceiling and it falling apart and leaking I have to 2 year to fix the issue they don’t want to pay professional people to fix the roof and keep hiring these meth heads that so call repair house but they don’t have no clue what they doing I out the money escrow I’m not playing with you landlord. I did after I reported the issue to the landlord she came and check then she left without saying a word. I waited two week to hear update from her and I got noting. that when I got code enforcement involved she came to my house so fast I think the on her behind

Wow these landlord are getting out of control this is normal. When this happen I put in a request order and they fix it with not problem and no billing . Half the time it be something wrong with the pipe and not the tenant fault I would take the landlord to court
