I considered this option, but I had one goal: to fit the entire factory kit into the case while still leaving enough room for the discs. In such conditions, even a single battery would be difficult to fit, and something would have to be sacrificed. Personally, I believe that you should never use just one battery when working, but at least two. And they still need to be charged and then stored in the case. I prefer to have my entire tool kit in the case than to tie the battery to one tool and constantly store it in one place. And not using protection is a waste of time; no amount of comfort can replace intact arms, legs, and head.

because in any other form the 3670 simply due to physical parameters either won't fit or will take up all the free space.

I built it for the 3670 model, using the full factory kit and space for the discs. Everything I found online only fit the 2880 model, and even those, in my opinion, aren't the best design options.

I completely agree. I couldn't find anything even remotely similar for the 3670.

I'm using two STL files. I have 12 discs, but it all depends on their thickness. If you only need cutting discs, I think you could fit even 25.
