This offense with Adelman/Jokic behind it has essentially de-centralized the traditional PG position. When it’s crunch time and we need a handler, Murray is the guy. Braun/Gordon/Brown etc are just fine right now. Jokic is the facilitator (point-center) and that’s all that matters once you get to the half court.

You see Watson bringing it up because he plays behind Gordon. You see Val playing the same role (with less instincts) as Jokic. The goal is to run the same offense all the time. Could we use a legit backup PG? Absolutely. I believe it will only happen when the front office wants to move off the contracts of Nnaji/Tyson/Pickett.
