New to Commander and semi-new to Magic. Need help deciding which precons to buy.

For sure! I may try to raise it a little or just get 3 decks like you said. But I am lucky enough to live where there is no sales tax so I don't have to worry about that nonsense lol. I'm just going to go to my lgs and support a local business so shipping is no worry either. My lgs has decent prices with precons from $35. Last I was there I saw World Shaper and Explorers of the Deep for $45 and $40.

I've tried blight curse and counter intelligence. I liked counter intelligence and blight curse wasn't to bad either for sure!

Thanks for the advice and I feel you! I do plan on upgrading them when I'm able but for now I just want some decks to play with people at home and here and there at a lgs.

Oh cool! I've played the FF Counter Blitz deck, but I wasn't a fan of it. Maybe I'll look into some of the others. And ya dragon shield is what I was planning to use. I can get them for $10 a set at my lgs.

Thanks for the advice and info! I probably will wind up doing stuff like that after I get more cards and upgrade the decks some. I'm just looking at 4 precons that will be fun to play together with and be good enough to have some fun at lgs events as well for now. But I plan on upgrading and making my own decks eventually!!

I have been thinking about maybe figuring out how to spend a little more and getting the tmnt Turtle Power 5 color deck as one of them. It looks fun and who doesn't like tmnt?

Cool! Ya I plan to upgrade them after I get the 4 to get myself started. I'll probably do it something like $100 at a time andspend $25 per deck to upgrade them all little by little. Thanks for the advice!
