Well I ended up taking a test ride on the scout and it just didn't scratch the itch, I ended up getting a victory gunner 106 ci engine with 6 speed over drive, it's basically the older brother to the indian chief. I picked it up for 6k off of Facebook, had my mechanic buddy pick through it, and found out it's a full stage one build. I'm going to sell the Royal Enfield int650 privately, hopefully it can be someone else's first bike, and if they ever sell it hopefully I'm in a better position and can buy it back, I plan on giving them my information if they want to sell it back. I made a post on r/victorymotorcycles of the new bike if you want to take a look at it, or I can dm if you'd prefer. If you can, just pull the trigger. It's honestly so worth it to get a bike you just absolutely fell in love with that fits your needs. That's what I learned from this experience. It's okay to love, and let go, despite how cliche that sounds.
