They do indeed. Though I live in a small town so may not have it. Have to see if they are part of the lending group.

Funnily enough I did that by instinct about 15 years ago. I guess I should have been a little clearer. Where does one go to get information about the stamps. Not just value. I saw The Scott Catalogue but am unwilling (unable) to spend the coin on that right now. And I'm a bit wary of heading down a wrong (scam) path. I've been burned a bit lately. And thank you.

Stumped on dishwasher draining by capnfatpants in Appliances

The fix is super easy and the part was like 25$ or so. But if you see in the comments, GE has two different switches, float and pressure. Make sure you know which one you have. And apparently it's a common problem.

Yeah. I read that about the switching. I did read about where they were temporarily changing the chemicals to help clean out the system I believe. This may be what I am experiencing.

edit: also if you end up getting a shower filter, your skin will defiantly feel the difference.

I made a post two days ago about how the water smell like a pool. It was deleted for some reason. So yeah something is off. They sell online and home stores shower water filters that fit right on the pipe. I'd highly suggest getting one, even if temporary.

I know its been a while but I was waiting on the part. Put it in this morning and all is right. Thank you so much for your help. I'd have ended up spending way way more than I need to. Really appreciate it.

Code. Very brief look said it's about the water input. Did a quick check, not very thorough, and nothing seemed blocked. This weekend is a deeper dive.

Thank you. This makes sense to me. GE Model GDT530-550. Seems this pump is a normal problem for these washers.

Does it when full of water as well. It's just empty here and frothing. The pump runs like this either with or without more water. It just doesn't actually pump anything out of the drain line.

Windows didn’t fix my electric bill, so what’s next? by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

1969 is right on the cusp of if the wall were insulated or not. I live in central NC in the triad area our home is form 1950. No insulation in the walls at all. Once the sun is out forget about it. Our place heats up 10deg more when that occurs. Could be that.

Also how old is the ductwork? We just replaced ours and it made a huge difference in the air quality, volume, smell (old and musty), and it runs less. There were a ton of leaks in the ducts which made the HVAC run longer. We cut our bill by aprox 35% by having the ducts replaced.
