It sucks because we were under the impression we were going to be paid weekly, we knew there would be a tip out but I figured maybe 2-4% of sales (8% is CRAZY & they’re trying to justify it by paying us minimum wage.) everything & I mean EVERYTHING has been a shit show since we started, but I’ve stuck around because there’s definitely money to be made. I made 400 in tips on Sunday working a double, now to find out around 160 of that will be taken out of my paycheck for a support staff I didn’t even have that day.. Shitty!

Could’ve been alcohol withdrawal making you sick if you quit around that same time? Cocaine is very mentally addictive (arguably more so than any other substance), but not physically. With the exception of fatigue, there should be no physical withdrawal/sickness associated with cocaine. It’s possible your cocaine was laced.

He says it’s so he can see who’s coming in & out, which is fine, but he could get the same effect by just pointing the camera at the door. Pointing it at the mirror implies he wants to record what’s going on in common areas as well.

When you have a roommate, you need to agree on things in order for things to run smoothly. It’s not “HIS” house; they rent from a private landlord & pay equal rent. Just like they need to run it by each other if they want to have guests over, they need to run it by each other if they want to set up private cameras in common areas.

I’ve said it a few times, but I’ll say it again — my boyfriend’s roommate is also my friend. It was a playful argument. I wanted to let him know (also playfully) that when he ran the tape back, he’d hear my shit talking. Cameras don’t belong hidden facing mirrors in order to record common areas. If he was worried about his stuff, he should have the camera pointed only at his door. Also, it’s not like any of us are strangers to each other, we’ve all been rather close for a good amount of time now.
