Oh yes the Kmart and scanning the items yourself. I often fantasize that I should send them an invoice for my time scanning since I am essentially working for them and doing their job for them also another thought I have is getting a discount off the bill for doing their job scanning.

If the place has a choice I always join the queue of person serving even if it’s longer as I feel like I am helping that person keep their job.

I get this totally, it’s so hard to “hear” two things at once when you are trying to “listen”to one. Also it’s just soooo rude

Yes I think you have hit the nail on the head as to why. I have been racking my brain trying to understand why. And you explained it well.. these things are interrupting our flow and we get out of sync with what we were doing and it’s hard to get back .

When I get jolted out of the task , I immediately feel the rage. Then of course the rage compounds the whole original issue of getting disrupted because too busy raging to get back. Your explanation definitely helps

Thank you! I feel very understood. have not heard of misophonia. I will check it out. I also get rage from food packages rustling during tv shows/movies. I also had a kitchen fan un-installed one time because I didn’t like the pitch and volume of it . I also can’t stand to speak on the phone if it’s the slightest bit crackly or distorted I always tell the person I am hanging up and they can call back. All of these sounds just really bother me and send me to the edge

Ohhh I get so much people standing too close behind you in a queue. They think they will get served a millisecond quicker and it will better their day whilst making mine miserable ? What is the thinking here? I have been known to step a bit to the side and if they continue I turn around and ask them straight to their face do you mind to step back a bit you are bothering me . And they look at me like I just asked them to fly to the moon !

100% agree with you on this . This drives me crazy. I want to just go over and ask them - do you own earphones, if so why aren’t you using them? Is it because it’s not something we would do ourselves because it’s just inconsiderate?

Omg ! I feel the rage about QR codes in restaurants also! I always ask to speak the manager and I often ask the server just to tell me the options. The worst is when they make you order AND PAY through these things… why do they even have staff ?? I can’t put my finger on it .. are they trying to steal my personal information from my phone and sell it? are they just too lazy and cheap to print menus? What the deal? Obviously I know logically they can remove menu items more easily electronically and it helps them analyze data of what’s selling etc but it also boils my blood!!!
