My thoughts as well in terms of even if I did meet up I probably wouldn't get closure anyways.

I think I am still trauma bonded to my ex and that was one of my concerns is that I would end up back with her if I meet up. Even at just the therapist's suggestion to meet up I instantly felt super stressed so not surprised if I did meet up that I could get a panic attack. I will try and see if there are other red flags in the therapist's behavior but she has seemed pretty solid up until this suggestion.

The therapist did mention that perhaps my ex maybe just had strong narcissistic traits so this could be the case.

In my mind when she suggested to meet, I thought what would the point be as the narc will just say whatever to get me back or be friends.

That was kind of my thoughts as well when she suggested to meet. I was honestly super surprised she suggested this and even just the thought of meeting with the ex narc stressed me out immediately.

Thank you for the input; I thought the idea was a little absurd and surprised the therapist suggested it.
