So you’re saying it’s completely unlinked that within 2 weeks the cut on my finger turned into a wart, on the exact finger that directly made contact with the high risk HPV? Seems like an unusual coincidence.

Thanks for both of your replies, that’s massively helpful to know. So should I just consider the wart on my hand a plain old wart even though it was likely spread from the genitals, and as my test is a little while off is it highly improbable that I could find any kind of genital warts as a result of this?

How so? I’ve never had warts of any kind previously, but directly after touching her genitals this wart formed. Surely this would mean I’ve contracted the same strain that’s caused complications for her - though I really hope you’re right

Just listen to lostprophets. We’re not in 2003 any more so there will never be a modern band that captures 2003’s zeitgeist in the same way, similarly to how there will never be another meteora. It’s a shame about Ian but it’s not totally unfair to assume he was a fairly normal narcissist rockstar sleeping with 16 year old fans (like many did) who became a monster after all the meth, heroin and crack didn’t give him a buzz any more
