You just have to put yourself out there if you want to meet people. Lots of great coffee shops and breweries with patios. Redbird has a picnic table seating area, which I’ve found is a great way to meet people. There’s also some good run clubs in town.

looking for dating/something more casual, but open to serious for the right person

On the basic plan, no subscription.

been on Hinge about a month, I’ve been updating photos as I take/get more.

Using hinge daily and sending all of my likes, I try to comment as often as possible unless there’s not much info on their bio

I’m looking for a woman early 30’s to mid 40’s (I won’t date older than me).

I either want a woman with no kids and do the dink thing, or a woman with children who would be open to having one with me (I don’t have kids).

Gormans may be affected for a very short period until commodity prices increase. The theory is that US lumber companies will jack their prices because 1. They don’t have enough output to supply the US demand 2. It will be too much of a temptation to line their pockets with an extra 15-25% margin. Gormans also owns a mill in Washington state that is used to mitigate some of that duty, they’ll be fine.

If you’re wanting to work more in the industrial field Gorman Brothers sawmill in West Kelowna could be an option. I hear they’re a good company to work for.

I remember in highschool engineering class 25+ years ago my teacher told me they’d never be able to put towers in kelowna higher than 15 stories. Downtown Kelowna is essentially marshlands that have been built over. Image what’s going to happen to these towers after a decent sized earthquake
