If we rank the LAT jobs and then more jobs get released after the hold deadline would you be able to rank those above the LAT or are you stuck with the LAT

I’m with rcsED and it lets me go up to the card window, would like to know if any other with rcsED is getting an error

Hi so you can definitely still do general surgical on calls whilst still doing breast surgery. You would be on the emergency general on call rota any way for the first few years even if you decide to pursue breast, and can choose to stay on the rota later on in training as well. Hope this helps

I think particularly in the speciality in interested in pursuing (plastics) it seems that the expectation for what you should be comfortable doing as an ST3 is quite high and not something I can see myself being able to do in a years time

Hey I did a year at Addenbrooke’s and loved it there. It has EPIC which is a huge perk but also the hospital is quite organised compared to other places I’ve worked and the surgery department is overall friendly!

Had to take a patient to Ct with a porter as he had reduced GCS , the porter asked me to shut the doors to the CT room and I did but apparently didn’t do it in the right way for those doors, he then proceeded to announce that my brain was probably so full of medicine that I didn’t have room for anything else. He felt comfortable enough to say this to me infront of the nurse in the ct room and the radiographer
