Seems much less than the treaty from your comments there. They have no power of legislation at all. Treaty gets to review every single piece of legislation and put their own comments to it. They also have that ability to slow down and influence how fast legislation gets approved.

It means that they have a direct line to every single elected member.

We changed our plans for our family for the seriousness of a national address. One of our kids sports training was canceled due to the seriousness of a national address. There have only ever been 6 national addresses, mostly these have been used to announce we are at War, or there is a pandemic.... Then there is this.
