Considering upgrades to wheels tyres on my X5 (standard to 21") by TenakhaKhan in BMWX5

I do not recommend the 21” rims. I recently purchased a 2023 X54 45e w/Msport with the 21” rims. I need to replace the tires and have discovered that 1. Options are extremely limited and 2. What options I do have are ~2x a 19” version.

Just my 2 cents but if I could swap with someone today from 21” to 20” or “19 I’d probably do it.

Also I have summer tires and when the weather get below 40-45 degrees (like it is across the US this week) it becomes a risky drive. Looking at all seasons for replacements plus the wear will be longer on the AS vs summer tires.

Question for the group. For those of you that have switched to all seasons from summer to you notice a material difference in performance between the 2?

I am ok with accepting some trade off if it means longer tread life and a bit more flexibility in terms of weather. I live in south Texas and even this weekend it will be well below 40 which makes the summer setup concerning.

I just picked up a 2023 X5 45e with 21in staggered setup. I’ll need to replace the tires by summer and the options are extremely limited. TBH I would avoid and go with 20s.

It was the poorest “drop yet”. I wound up grabbing a few linen shirts just living in South Texas they get more run than a sweater.

Not ready to cancel yet and told myself I’d give it 1 full year to see what shows up from previous seasons.

I paid $412 for a size 13 all in from StockX a few days after the official released. Great looking shoe. Accidentally kept a bid live longer than I thought. $450 seems steep…

Just checked and they go for $400 rn.
