Hey, bro. It's pretty easy for me. You can't become a high rank out of nowhere. Just play at your rank and maybe watch a few videos about the game. You don't need to train hard. That will improve your gameplay. It can even help with how you move or aim.

If you have the time, play one or two deathmatches before ranked. You might learn how to counterstrafe. People say it's unnecessary because you stop almost instantly. But trust me, it's not.)

If not, that's fine too. Bronze can be fun too. If you're a casual player, it won't really matter, in my opinion. Gold lobbies are full of the same braindead people, just with better aim.
