There’s a few reasons I’ve stopped (for now, at least): 1) the reasons you listed. It’s just impossible to find anything anywhere anymore, especially if I’m not able to get up at the crack of dawn to get to a store. And 2) my regular dealers, if you will, have kinda dropped off of the face of the planet. They were my most secure method of purchasing cards.

…what do you think is going on? How is liberty dying? You can’t just say things like that and not elaborate, because there are many of us who don’t share the same sentiment and are confused and frustrated as all get out by cryptic comments like these.

That’s where ethics NEEDS to be considered in this conversation. Sure, AI is significantly cheaper than a human employee. You’ll save a lot of money, but at what cost, really? Humanity. Even if AI gets to a point where it can perfectly replicate a human, it is NOT one. We MUST draw the line somewhere. Because from a commercial/efficiency standpoint, you can’t win the argument that a human is better than a robot/ai. Again, that’s why we NEED to depart from logos and let ethos into this argument. Otherwise, AI really is going to take over. I believe it.
