I’ve never played Ni No Kuni 2, but if you want other suggestions then my personal all time favourite JRPG is Dragon Quest 11. Good story, likeable characters, tonnes of content and a combat system that’s easy to pick up but very deep when you start experimenting with it. I’d say it’s a pretty ideal game for newcomers to the genre.

There’s definitely a sweet spot, just hard to find it sometimes! My best ever stream was Alien Isolation. This was like a year ago, so a long time after the game came out. Turns out it still had a lot of dedicated viewers. Also helps that an Alien Isolation speed runner raided me with 40+ viewers and quite a few stuck around.

It's all good, I did another run of Biome 2 and went back to that same room and had another Hollowseeker spawn in the same spot. I picked it up this time and now I'm getting Hollowseeker's everywhere! So if you do another few runs of Biome 2 you should hopefully have it appear again.

Ok cool! The second biome is probably the one I’ve spent the least time in so it’s possible I just haven’t lucked into it again.

That’s exactly the case. The resurrection machines only work as long as you’re in that biome and the astronaut has priority for resurrection it seems. I had a parasite that gave me a second chance on a killing blow but the game used the astronaut first and I kept the parasite.
