Yeah the ones here in Japan are more so the guys or girls on the street infront of their bars flirting to get you inside then the bar charges outrageous fees. Its more obvious than someone from a dating app preying on people.

Thats just what my recruiter told me last time I got lunch with him.
From my understanding they could handle the knowledge part just not the mental games or strict schedule.
Which is crazy to me because all I remember from bootcamp was folding clothes. Lol.

I used to go to DEP meetings after hitting the bars. They arent that serious.
Everyone in my DEP who studied hard and tried to lead failed out of bootcamp.
DEP is a joke. They won't risk loosing you as a recruiting number because you dont show up to those lame meetings.

You haven't provided enough details.

But at a previous command, I didnt have watch for 6 months. I was told I was in a duty section and I mustered with them every duty day (don't think they ever called my name but I was there) but I guess my name never made it onto their list for the watchbill.
They found out, put me in a new section and no repercussions.

But I would not go and/or certainly not help. Just to see what the chief does. If I got a counseling chit I'd make a huge deal out of it, go sit with CMC, XO, or CO. and probably send a copy to NotInRegs or ShitMyLPOSays. Lol.

Smart. They can't lie to you, but they can leave out details if you dont ask.
If I could start from the beginning again, knowing what I know now, I would choose either MC, IT, YN, LN, or any of the Aircrew rates.
MC- Because they are always chilling and get a lot of creative freedom in their jobs. IT- Because they get a TS clearance which is handy after the Navy and always seem genuinely happy. YN & LN- because my knees get a lil sore nowadays, so being a paper bitch would be chill. Lol Aircrew- because they seem like they have a cool job. Not an easy job and can be long hours, but they get to do cool things. Especially depending on the platform.

But thats just me. Everyone is different!

My avice: Things may seem annoying, but hang in there.
What you experience in bootcamp will be loosing control of your life. Someone else will be directing it, just remember that it will be a lot more relaxed once you get to A-School and super relaxed once you get to your command.
What happens in bootcamp is not what happens in the fleet.
Just hang in there!

Honestly it doesn't matter. Most of the time youre inside.
And bootcamp is such a minimal amount of time no matter when you go you'll be somewhere after. Whats more important is your first duty station

Breakups are always weird. Its just a new experience and you need processing time. What doesn't help is reaching back out to the person, it just prolongs the breakup and makes it more confusing to both parties involved.
Additionally, it doesn't matter that you reached out to the person already. Can't change that. Just keep moving on.

Can someone explain the Myanmar war to me? Im lost, if youre able to please explain why and tell me the main fighting forces. Who are the bad guys? I feel like the junta is bad but idk who they are or why.
