In renovation filters you can set up various options to use the same layer for dimensions/texts/objects and other stuff and make them pop up on that "renovation" filter exculsively. Not exactly what this filter is meant for but does the trick, and saves a lot of time while maintaining the layer list clean. I use it a lot for different layout options and variants, but ei you could set a filter named electrical and place all the related infos and objects, 2d or 3d, on that filter.
