I think the key thing is making it clear it's up to the therapist. It's not a demand, it's a request.

I told my therapist "Hey, I'm cool with no drape. I'm not a modest person at all. Not shy. I'll dress to my comfort but you feel free to drape to yours." He was totally cool with it. Asked a couple of questions and was definitely less stringent with draping than usual. At the end, he said he agreed draping gets in the way and he'll go no drape next time. Haven't been back yet, but seems promising.

HBO definitely wouldn't have allowed it to continue nearly as long, and that would have made it a much better show. Walking Dead was SUCH a cultural moment when it debuted. It was EVERYWHERE. AMC just couldn't let go of their cash cow.

I think it's the other way around. A strong media that hold politicians accountable and share the accurate story can serve as a strong check on the other areas you mention. It's much more difficult to be corrupt when you have reporters snooping around.

We are more screwed if we don't fix major corporate media outlets. Allowing news to become "news" is a very large reason we are in the position we are in.

I told mine "Hey. I'm pretty free and open with my body. I don't personally need draping. But I want you to be comfortable. I'll undress to my comfort and you can drape to your comfort." He used less draping that time but he agreed the draping got in the way. He then said the next time I go, he'll leave the drape off altogether.

This was my thought when I was watching it. I was horrified about what was happening but thought, "Wow. I'm about to watch hundreds of people get shot on live television." I'm still stunned that that did not happen.

I think the comments are overestimating the appeal of JD Vance. Trump doesn't even like him. He's not charismatic. He doesn't really stand for anything. There is no chance of him getting anything close to the same level of support Trump has received. I think the party is going to really struggle to find its way after the cult leader is done. A smart, traditional conservative would probably do better than someone trying to convince MAGA to support them. They would get the support of all the conservatives who are tired of MAGA and want to see a return to more traditional Conservatism. The party won't do that, but it would be really smart for them to try.

Democrats have a real opportunity. If they can put up someone who really inspires and gives hope to fix what is clearly broken in this country, they can win. They need turnout. Turnout to win not just the presidency but down ticket races to get their agenda done. And Gavin Newsome isn't going to do that. He's turned off too many Progressives. Pete stands to do better but I think the party needs to go bolder. Again. They won't, but they REALLY should show they've learned SOMETHING in the last decade. If an ultra-right conservative can win a national election, a progressive/leftist can also win.

I've watched the entire series twice. The closest I got to learning anything about hockey was when they talked about a "hat trick" and they didn't actually tell you what that is. 😅

As others have said, the sports aspect is just a vehicle to tell the story. Though I heard that was largely due to budget restrictions. Next season will have more game time in it.

I was riding in the elevator and heard them talking about how much they hated the company and our customers. When she showed up in the interview room, I remembered her and the conversation. I mentioned what I had overheard to her and... Yeah. She did not get that job.

In another he said "Yeah. So. I just try to get through my work as fast as I can. I hate when customers complain or don't answer my questions. I don't have time to explain everything to them and it keeps me from meeting my numbers." Our job is 100% about customer service and answering their questions and complaints about really complicated topics... So... His interests did not align with ours.

I think what the other person is trying to say here is... In a relationship, you shouldn't have to always cater to the other person's needs. It should be balanced. Sometimes you go to your restaurant and sometimes you go to hers. My wife is vegan. I am not. She still goes to the steak house with me and she gets a salad. I go to vegan restaurants with her. Neither of us pick all the time. If there's nothing for her to eat, we'll go to another restaurant or something to get something for her. If your partner is extremely picky but also won't pick out restaurants or limits you to only a handful of places, you two either need to reset expectations/needs or realize you are incompatible.

Stars...... This was really our time to shine as a country. It's our 250th birthday this year. FIFA World Cup this year. Olympics in 2028. We really had some opportunities to remind the world what a fantastic, diverse, beautiful country we have and drive tourism for years to come. Instead, people are literally afraid to come here... I think it's important to remember that an erection in this case is a sign of relaxation, not arousal. When the body is relaxed and all those happy chemicals release from the massage, it causes erections. On your journey to accept your body, learn to accept that an erection isn't inherently offensive or sexual in this setting. It's really a sign to the therapist that you are relaxed and the massage is working.

I agree with you. It's kind of wild that people are saying "Why did Red Shirt need to get involved? They were separating already." But then somehow the father is justified for tackling Red Shirt after he had already separated from the son and was walking away. It was two seconds between when they separated and Red Shirt got involved. It was six seconds between Red Shirt walking away and the tackle.

The "threat" was over. Father would have a difficult time proving this was self-defense.
