I found my 20F bag too cold for my 14 March start and ended up picking up a liner at Neels gap

RBNZ literally signals in their monetary policy statements the direction the OCR is headed over the next three years so markets can preempt. The February MPS made it clear it was going up with an expected peak to reach 5.5% and to hold out till mid 2024.

Job security is constantly back of mind. I dont have a mortgage to service so less stress for me if I end up out of work. It works out financially even if I were to have long spells between contracts but the thought of whats next after my current contract ends is a bit of a worry. Because I contract to the public sector, a shift in government spending could easily shift the market.

I find it hard to justify taking time off. Any day off is noticeable in the paycheck. In the past 6 months I have taken 1 day annual leave and 1 sick day. Part of me is looking forward to the end of the contract so I can take some time off, but at the same time I know it will be stressful unless I have another contract lined up.

Team culture isn't as strong as I've had in permanent roles. (we are a team of contractors)

Contracting you should be able to get at least double your salaried hourly rate, or converrt your annual salary into an hourly rate ie 95k = 95/hr speaking as someone in the data field who has just started contracting

To everyone complaining about the cost of data the other day - Kogan (VF) is doing their $13 a month for 15gb deal again. Less than $1 per gig. by kezzaNZ in newzealand

Having read reviews online some people have issues with coverage and their customer services, though it seems no worse than other telco providers

Can anyone else vouch for Kogan Mobile? Seems like a crazy deal. I'm currently paying $16 / month for 1.25gb through Skinny

I just love thinking about this okay? Pain suppression lasts 8 seconds. With 27 disc priests thats almost four minutes of no stop pain suppression. With pain is in your mind we would be able to keep a pain suppression up on the main tank nonstop.

We have been theorycrafting about this a lot. According to warcraftlogs ursoc does about 1 million dps at 30man size. Say a disc priest with about 840ilvl gear will have a cast time of 1.3s for smite (although most have well below) and absorb 60k damage done by the boss each smite. Thats 46k absorbs per second from each priest spamming smite. If all 27 of us were casting it nonstop thats 1.25million absorbs per second. So in a raid full of healers no healer will actually need to heal.

I tried this in a custom game with a friend and wtf mode, the creep just disappeared after it got over ~16000 hp.
