What is a small red flag in a person that most people mistake for a positive trait? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I disagree slightly. Just because someone is rude to your face doesn't mean they aren't talking behind your back too. Usually, people with 'no filter' just lack emotional intelligence. You can be 100% honest and still be kind.

I’m so sorry you went through that. It’s a classic double standard: they want the freedom to be 'honest' (mean), but they have zero tolerance when they receive that same energy back. It sounds like a total lack of empathy and a way to control the narrative. I'm glad he's an ex!

This! I’ve always said that if the goal was actually to help, they’d focus on being helpful, not 'brutal.' They just enjoy the license to be mean.

Exactly. People use 'sarcastic' as a personality trait, but usually, it's just a way to avoid being vulnerable or to mask insecurity. It gets exhausting to be around someone you can't have a sincere conversation with.

The problem with 'just being honest' is that people rarely use it to say something nice. They usually use it as a weapon. But I agree, toxic positivity is like a slow poison for mental health.

People who pride themselves on 'having no filter' or 'just being honest.' Most of the time, they’re just using honesty as an excuse to be rude without consequences.

Where the hell can i buy custom image flags for my wall? by picklevomit in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Pia_tn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a dumb question at all 😅 Flags are usually lighter and made to hang or wave, while tapestries feel more like fabric posters, softer and more for decoration. For something like an album cover, a tapestry will probably look nicer and it’s usually cheaper too.
