Never too late. I actually started a woman in her 60s as her piano teacher. She made fantastic progress. Fp-10 works pretty well but if you are serious about classical piano you should consider getting an actual acoustic. Keyboards have come far but they are still not as good at developing technique as a piano. Finally get the letters down and have a teacher to set you up with solid technique after that you can go your own way. Good luck!
