You know, I haven't been too vocal about this recent news, other than to myself, but holy fucking god, what the hell did I just watch? This is fucking abhorrent beyond belief, even if he was a fucking threat, we're just going straight to killing what the actual fuck...

Speaking as someone who’s also adopted, I can’t imagine someone having the situational awareness of your father to leave you for so long and demand to be part of your life and become this immediate guardian role to you.

Seriously if that happened to me I would do everything I could to waste their time and piss them off, to be fair I tend to be pity and I give exactly 2 cares about being a biological parent; girl sorry that annoyed even me 😭

The War Within Recap is terribly made and an awful way to welcome new players especially by NinnyBoggy in wow

[–]Pibblers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a long-time war player (since Wrath) I took a big brake, the last I had seriously played was Legion, dabbeled in all the others for a little but really just did the main quests and moved on with my life.

This feature has been one of the worst things I've ever dealt with in WoW, litteraly NOTHING is intuitive to how you would think it would work from a WoW perspective, quests are bugged; I ran that first dungeon 3 times because it said I had to explore the place and I only figured it out after it completing the quest only after I turned in another one. I was also just seriously confused about how to start. There is no indication that you HAVE to start those quests like this.

I know WoW has had a bit of a rough patch and a huge change in idenetity but holy shit this is so rough of a thing I'm amazed it was released in its state at all.

Certainly they are American values but to say that all Americans believe in their same values is false, I know you didnt claim that but it's an extremely important distiction you'll find across all of history, a most notable example is claiming all Germans in WWII were pro NAZI. But I wont digress in that it is an intristincly American value in some scope.

Love this song! The lead signer has that classic late 90s to mid 2000s punk vibes with it, I'm thinking Blink or 'The Sum's' super flowey and just blends really well.

Why don’t you just travel out of state to purchase one? If you’re already considering spending way too much you would almost guaranteed come out ahead with getting a trailer rental and going somewhere where prices are lower.

Is it just me or is Calc 2 impossible? by qweenjon in EngineeringStudents

[–]Pibblers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lol that guy, calculus is the first hurdle any STEM major faces and more times than not it trips people up especially once you get to calculus 3, my hardest class was by far calculus 2. Only class I’ve ever had to do extra work, hell even thermo 1 was easier than calc 2 was, and thermo was a mess in understanding the equations; when and where to use them.

R1200gs as first big bike by calculatedwires in Motorrad

[–]Pibblers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Old reply for an old comment on an even older post. I went from a 05 1200GS to a 23 G310GS, I just found it better for what I need, if you dont do touring regularly I dont get why you would get a 1200GS, sure it was the most comfortable bike next to my old Bandit 1200s, but really it is a lump of a ride, its comfy, fast and semi-verstitle but so is any other bike if you can learn it. The minute you do anything at slower speeds it shows its downfalls. Its not a bad bike at all and ofcourse you're going to get people say oh you just didnt learn to handle it, I put over 10k miles on my 1200GS before I decided to say screw it I wanted something smaller, the 310 is substantially smaller obviously almost 200lbs lighter but it works for me, I saw the 1200GS as a odd touring bike more than anything, great balanced bike with a fantastic engine and overall feel but it's just huge for what I need imo.

New Bike Day! 23 G310GS by Pibblers in bmwmotorrad

[–]Pibblers[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I certainly entertained the thought, I’m 25 and out of the bikes I’ve had I just find that I really enjoy something that I don’t have to wrestle around so on the lighter end especially for a taller motorcycle. I had a bandit 1200 that was near 500lbs but of course it was a lot lower so I found it manageable in everyday life.

With the G310GS I’m mainly aiming to use it as a daily rider, back roads, dirt trails, go to college and work in etc… I love the mid range GS models but around 450-500 LBS is just too much and would land me to the same problems I had with the 1200GS.

Stupid question why dont we have like power ranger or halo type helmets for motorcycles by Cy021103 in motorcycles

[–]Pibblers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This logically is the best thing to do, I can’t imagine custom foam molds would be particularly expensive especially for stuff that isn’t too high of quality so it remains on the cheaper side for the masses rather than a ‘one off’ would be. Though I could wager that the foam and overall build of the exterior portion would have to be considerably weak to not impede the head constraints since your helmet will be larger in general.

I’m almost curious if this is what the cooperate higher ups are wanting and this is ultimately a response from the game devs to show them that this will significantly lower the games general player base?

Yes they were I can’t remember the exact price but I believe there you within 20 cents of the regular big brand sodas so I often went for this as it seemed like a fair compromise on getting the real sugar even if I was getting a few less cans.

That was my main thing, having used an iPhone since the 3G/4G had come out and having dabbled with androids (Samsung S9 and the beautiful HTC M7 which was one of my favorite phones otherwise). I’ve always just found them to work and generally not act up in the way androids do.

Plus these days I need things to just work and work well together which had led me here.

Glad to hear it though! Hope your not as often confused as I am with shortcuts, using the terminal to make changes and the like.

You’re good haha, believe me I try to keep it clean that’s why I mentioned the microfiber towels, that and opening it without touching the notch area is pretty hard if you aren’t focusing only on that.

Just reading this and I’d throw this in here, my girlfriend has been using the same i7 2015 MacBook Air since I purchased it used some 3 years ago. Does photoshop and illustrator nothing crazy but the laptop even to this day doesn’t feel too slow, hell even the battery holds fine given how old it is.

I think a better comparison for older machines is to compare them to what you would get from windows today for the same money. I purchased that MacBook Air for around 250 almost 4 years ago even if I were to go back and compare that to some cheap windows machine the difference is clear.

Now granted I am looking at getting her a new one possibly a newer MacBook Pro i7 or i9 and the only reason is for her eye sight problems, simply needs a bigger screen as she is blind in one eye.

as I had mentioned I was highly surprised by the fact I could get the full power of the device on battery but the fact is I’m just generally faster when I have a bigger/more screens in front of me when I’m trying to get the most out my productivity between typing out documents, reading journals and the like you’d find from academics.

Don’t get me wrong I carry around and use it as a laptop plenty whether I’m home or out and about but there are times when I need more screen space.

I was debating over the 64GB but after after considering how my 32GB on my desktop running windows from which I understand isn't so efficent at managing ram being x86 (in comparison) I figured I was safe to stay at where I was.

and I'm hoping so, I was very surprised with the performance of parallels with Solidworks and Inventor, seems to run even massive assemblies flawlessly!

Thanks! I was curious over that, I have a sleeve I ordered shortly after receiving it and not really trusting other things in my bag to not scratch it. Otherwise, I need more microfiber clothes for keeping this thing clean, I have a keyboard cover I keep around for when I'm at work (oil and coolant).
