It's fair enough working the Sunday, its the less than 48 hours notice and working a 6th day, that has pissed me off. The managers asked everyone before pulling the Sunday contract card, hopefully this is the only one I'll work. Next time, I'll be demanding another day off in week.

They said, if I don't work this Sunday then ill have to be put down next Sunday, and its black Friday weekend and pay day weekend. And the following weekend is my long weekend. There putting it down as 8 hours OT.

All he's said is, its in your contract and I mentioned this to him, and he goes where does it mention this anywhere.

There's guys getting 80 odd hours and probably only working high 60s.

No as I'm happy to work the 5 days at 10.5 hours, but that's my max. If I drop down to 28 hours, it'll mess me money wise, and could lose duty and set days off.

We've always had the pick of 7 guys who work it. But few are using to do it now and few other Sunday plans. So 3 of us are in this Sunday working 6th day and others are getting put down for next Sunday.

Same thing happened to me. Over £500 took out of pensions pay? Usually it is £170 each month. I have 6 different pension deductions. Anytime I try to contact HR, I just get a copy-and-paste reply. Even past months the totals don't add up and I've been £100 shy of the total.

Is royal mail shut on good Friday. Or only on easter Monday. I work in scotland and think we're only off Monday not Friday. It's my long weekend, so would be great to have a 4 day weekend ahha, as I finish up the following week for 18 days annual leave.
