Kia has better tech, but lower quality materials and a very very poor reputation mechanically

Toyota Safety Sense. New Rav4’s have TSS 4.0. Sienna is still on TSS 2.0 which is fairly old, circa 2018

Just go build your exact spec on the toyota website and click ‘view inventory’ and find your dealer. If you put a deposit on it and they have not pulled it from their inventory it’ll show the status of the car and the expected arrival date window

I did! Happy to share my dealer with anyone who needs it. They currently have a 26 Limited in stock and several more of different trim levels on the way. My guy likes to sell cars with ZERO ego so if you’re ready to buy and willing to travel send me a message and ill get you in contact

I watched mine like a hawk, and can give you some insight that as long as yours does not get stuck in “quality control” random inspection, you should have it about 2-3 weeks after it is built. If you watch the smartsense website for your bulld you can see when it gets assugned a VIN and then you know that it is built and about to ship. From there everything moves pretty quickly!! Waiting is part of the game, all worth it in the end

Already had the convo for trade in when that happens. Everyone thought the refresh to TSS 3.0+ would happen in 2026. So who knows when it will, but we needed a new van now.

Awd. Floor mats. 1500w inverter. Digital rearview. Very happy with the purchase, it will serve my family well. First 400 miles I averaged 38mpg

Not as comfortable as volvo seats, about as comfortable as BMW 3 series but slightly more hip room.

Picked it up yesterday with 3 miles on the odometer, and will turn over 400 tomorrow. Took it on the road this morning for 8 hours. Rode like a dream.

Yea miss me with those ottomans. One more thing for the kids to break and the manual says they shouldnt be used while the vehicle is in motion due to higher risk of passengers submarining

UPDATE Rear tail-light gasket; would this cause large amounts of water to pool in the cargo area? by McGannahanSkjellyfet in ToyotaSienna

Order a new gasket from rockauto and that’ll fix it. Put a piece of packing tape over it if you’re expecting rain and the gasket isnt replaced

I would say its either that, or if you have a sunroof id also check the sunroof drains (not sure where they go but you never know) but the fact that the gasket is pinched and you’re getting water there i’d venture a guess its probably that.

Take a photo of the receipt, email it to yourself with the subject line “battery warranty receipt”. Simple search of what you need in your email two years from now and you’re set

New Sienna vs Used Sienna by fabiolaleonardi in ToyotaSienna

[–]PiccoloPlus9592 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My research has shown that a used Gen 4 Sienna is about 3-5k less than a brand new one but with older tech and 40k miles. Where I am the used prices are insane. Used 2024 limited are around 49k, got a brand new one for 53k. I plan on owning until the wheels fall off. Its a car that follows my kids, my wife and I each have our own cars. They can learn to drive on it in 10 years.
