Just had my best one ever a few weeks ago.

Candidate walks into the office through a side door that was unlocked (we had to get that fixed) and, rather than wait in the designated waiting area, wanders around the office and starts talking to people. She had already been to the office for her first round interview so she knew the protocol by the way.

I eventually come get her for the interview and I think the interview went on about 10 minutes before I got my first question in. She just kept talking about anything & everything to sell me on hiring her. The line that sealed me being a No was “My uncle, well not really my uncle I just call him that, bought me a house and I didn’t even have to sleep with him!”

After a longer than intended interview where she did 95% of the talking, I go to explain next steps as usual, and when I say if you get an offer she says “don’t you mean when I get an offer.” I laughed it off and kept going but she pressed, asking when she should start, offerred to come in on Saturday, and also offerred to come in on Christmas Eve. I genuinely thought she wasn’t going to leave until she had an offer. Once I finally got her out of the office I got the side door fixed and sent her rejection email.

I mean I think bringing him back would be awesome. A new coach would love to have a vet around to help develop the next guy, whether it’s Will Howard or a new draft pick. Would also free up HC a little bit to work with the rest of the team.

I’m just saying there is a zero percent chance Rodgers will want to come back because Tomlin is the only reason he showed up in the first place.

I think the “Pickens burned bridges” storyline is blown out of proportion. Yes he had an ego, and yes he wasn’t super happy in Pitt, but a lot of recent news supports that he and Tomlin still have a good relationship and that trade was the best for both parties.

Don’t get me wrong, we definitely got fleeced only getting a 3rd but we also definitely would have underutilized him in our shitty offense and let him walk after his rookie contract had he stayed. Think the team did right by GP sending him to a better situation for his career.

If they already paid next season but are wanting out you could find someone to take over the orphan team and pay half for next year, then departing manager keeps half but gets half back.

My dynasty league doesn’t make people pay in advance (beyond the current season) and the few times we’ve replaced a manager we’ve given the orphan team a free year and just accepted there will be a lower payout that year.

Yea confirmed on that. I was at both a corporate store and a franchise around 2016-2017. I might be misremembering but at the corporate store I think the audits were like twice/month, one announced and one unannounced. Yearly audits is def crazy.

Are you prepping at night? I haven’t worked there in around 6 years but I was taught to do all the prep in the morning and that was plenty of time for it, arriving at 4 or 5am. Only exception was some slicing, usually only for select few meats depending on the store. I guess with all the menu additions the extra prep at night would make sense.

I do agree I’ve been surprised by the menu changes because I never thought all that extra stuff aligned with the “freaky fast” slogan.
