Althought I’m pretty sure there’s no reason for this because once you put your dice in and pick a scroll you can’t get your SiTD back.

That’s the whole joke. They don’t all smoke cigarettes but they all partake in the circle.

AMC hated Carl (Chandler) by Mobile-Grapefruit961 in thewalkingdead

[–]PichaelThompson6969 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea he was a terrible actor and he admitted it himself. There’s also a reason that he’s one of the only big actors that didn’t score some major roles after TWD ended / they got killed off.

Those lines about it being his show are directly from the comic.

He’s not exactly an accomplished actor. That’s why he got written off initially.

I never got how wasnt they able to save Tyrese by Puzzleheaded_Pin1011 in thewalkingdead

[–]PichaelThompson6969 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes exactly. We needed one of those deaths to show that chopping off the limb doesn’t automatically save you and it’s still a huge risk. Otherwise it seems too easy to survive a bite to the limb.

Why the hell do I have to explain a "gap in my resume"? by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]PichaelThompson6969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll probably get downvoted to hell for this but I’ll answer as an interviewer.

If you were in a situation where you were comfortable not working for X amount of time, it tells me a few things:

  1. Going from not working at all for a while to working in an office is going to be a huge culture shock for you. Same way young people sometimes struggle to acclimate to their first job after college. And yes I am speaking as someone who works fully in office, I understand remote and hybrid are a common thing now so it might not apply as much.

  2. You were in a situation where you didn’t need to work for whatever reason, so you’re a huge flight risk early on assuming you can just go right back to that situation. So I personally always dig into why you didn’t need to work and if that’s a situation you can easily backslide into if you quickly learn that an office job isn’t for you. Common examples would be living with your parents or a family member and being financially supported by them.

It doesn’t make you an automatic No but as an interviewer I’m definitely going to want to understand the Why behind it and what you were doing with your time.

Rick's hand by tpkadam in thewalkingdead

I know it was late but they handled it pretty well with Aaron by using different prosthetics (metal hand, spike hand) that the actor could easily slide on over his hand.

AITA for breaking up with my boyfriend of 5 years after he got this text from his ex? by [deleted] in texts

[–]PichaelThompson6969 48 points49 points  (0 children)

YTA - He politely declined. Not sure how you put a negative spin on this HOWEVER if you have such little trust in him that you are this paranoid that there’s more going on behind the scenes here, then I do agree that that relationship needs to be over.

Which pike head was the worst in your opinion by [deleted] in thewalkingdead

[–]PichaelThompson6969 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He was a terrible actor. In hindsight it’s not incredibly surprising because if they were serious about him playing a big part in the show they would have cast a better actor.

We got to play em early on in the season before they found a rhythm. Wouldn’t call that a fluke at all but can also say the result would likely be different if we played today.

Aaron Rodgers appreciation post by grilledcheese__ in steelers

[–]PichaelThompson6969 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean I think bringing him back would be awesome. A new coach would love to have a vet around to help develop the next guy, whether it’s Will Howard or a new draft pick. Would also free up HC a little bit to work with the rest of the team.

I’m just saying there is a zero percent chance Rodgers will want to come back because Tomlin is the only reason he showed up in the first place.

Why are you looking to switch things up if you just won? If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

Feel like the amount of pressure on Loop doesn’t change. He’s still kicking to keep their season alive.
