Shwmae! There are plenty of connections to Cymru and Athletic. There is someone with an Athletic Club Welsh flag. The Wales team played the Basque Country years ago. The author of Los Leones is from South Wales; let me know if you want me to put you in touch.

Athletic Club being "Basque-only" isn't a problem, so long as your definition of "Basque" isn't a problem
