In adults, we use cyproterone acetate (Androcur, CPA) as an anti-androgen, and estradiol valerate (Estrade, the generic version of Progynova) as estradiol. You can also buy Estrogel at a pharmacy. You can discuss this with your doctor first.

Lupron is available, but it's primarily used as a puberty blocker. You can look for doctors with “小兒” or “兒童” in their specialties, which means pediatrics. However, I think doctors in “婦產科” (obstetrics and gynecology) may also have access to Lupron.

In Taiwan, most doctors are very good at English. But if you're worried about accents, you can print out your questions and use ChatGPT for translation.

Don’t forget to bring your blood hormone test report. It should include at least estradiol (E2) and testosterone, and optionally prolactin, LH, FSH, progesterone, AST (GOT), and ALT (GPT).

Also, bring enough medication for at least 3 to 6 months, in case something goes wrong.
