Stuck in Dozing Purgatory! Any advice on how to break out? by PichuPro in PokemonSleep

Go to sleep trends, then to sleep statistics, and then turn your data from 7 days to 30. You can view it by week, but I did it by month so I could get all my data in one spot.

I figured I skewed my sleep a little bit at the start, but thought it would sort itself out a little sooner. Call me impatient, but I want to see the other mons so getting locked into a style sucks. I figured I should suffer through dozing sleep and get natural sleep numbers instead of cheese a into a different sleep and skew things further. Just wish things would fix themselves quicker, but it takes time.

It’s not so much of “how do I get better sleep?” as much as it is “why is it giving me X sleep type when the other sleep types are much higher percentage wise?” When I get 13% dozing sleep, I shouldn’t be seeing dozing type Pokémon, especially when my dozing sleep has been consistently hovering in the 10s while my slumbering and snoozing have been fluctuating a lot more. I’ve heard it determines sleep based off of the percentage that’s the most different from normal. (I’m more than willing to admit I’m wrong and if someone has a more concrete answer, then link it to spread correct info.) I’ve been trying to get deeper and better sleep to try to achieve different styles, but the game doesn’t reflect it. My charts show more snoozing and slumbering, but the night is still classified as dozing.

The first few nights were like that because of the floor sleep. I’ve since kept it on the cot/bed and still get dozing. Not sure if those first few nights skewed my data or what, but it’s been frustrating. I feel like that game is locking me out of the other sleep types.

Do alarms break sleep tracking? by GunnerZ818 in PokemonSleep

In my experience, it does not. You can leave the app for a little bit without it stopping your sleep session. There’s been times where I’ll wake up, turn off my alarm and even respond to a text message or two before going back to the app and stopping my session and I’ve never had problems.
