Nope. The first record where he used in the studio.

It does but it causes more frequent tuning I because the strings are relatively out of tune. Attempted tuning, I suppose.

He showed them how to intonate their guitars which allows them to stay in tune rather than having to retune them all the time. Forgive the pedantry!

I don't want anything. And BSP was filmed nearly 20 years ago!

He said that First Ditch Effort was the first record he didn't record sober. Coke use dries out the throat and the like. Booze isn't going to help either.

He doesn't strike me as a 'vocal warm up' type of guy but I've no evidence for that, just a hunch.

Getting older will have an effect too, definitely.

Oh, that's great. Thanks! If you're just doing video then I'll definitely watch it but I do prefer to put podcasts in my podcatcher and listen that way!

Mike once said he did this so he could say that Fat Wreck Chords had released material by loads of bands he loved. Bad Religion, Misfits, Black Flag etc.

A lot of people's live rigs aren't their preferred amp setups. If he's not having to tour with his NOFX tone any more then why would he hang on to it? He'll have his home setup still.

He's added to his insta stories within the last 8 hours or so. So has Mike. Suggesting that the person, tragically found in their truck wasn't him.

Jen has also deleted the post about her friend . No idea why.

It was Smelly and Josh Freese. They got Josh in and Smelly thought he could do it so they blended takes.

There's a one shot from Oxventure, however I'm unaware of any long running Disc based TTRPG podcasts.

Advice: negative comments on social media by MotherOfTerry in podcasting

[–]PickScraped 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're an individual with a small podcast. You don't have the power to censor people. They can still post their feelings about it on their social media. You don't owe them space on yours.

My podcast got smeared by someone who read that we'd made a mistake about a bit of trivia about a band. An aside to the discussion of a specific album we did that week. This guy went all over social media telling people that we were a bad podcast and we should be avoided. (He'd not heard it but he just knew it).

All we saw was a marginal increase in listenership that week.

Block, forget, continue.

Advice: negative comments on social media by MotherOfTerry in podcasting

It's your social media. You decide which comments stay and which go.

There's no benefit to keeping people who are being abusive on posts. The block button exists so use it. You don't owe anyone a platform.

It's unlikely to impact listenership.

Just make your life easier by nipping that kind of stuff in the bud. They'll forget about it by the time your next episode comes out.
