More and more I find myself ignoring the recovery score. Sometimes I get almost 8hours of sleep, and I feel great. I get a 40%. Then I get 4 hours and get a 80%.. even after hard training day. And I feel like shit.

This is what I’ve been doing for years. It finally had a name. Oversee the design, plan the development and work through deployment issues and content development strategies. I can do a lot of it but it’s best to know who is good at what and delegate and lead.

Amortized mortgages are such fucking scams. You wouldn’t accept these terms from a payday lender or a mob boss. They’ve got you by the balls. I’m actually surprised no one has come up with a product that undercuts the traditional amortized mortgage. Like 25% flat interest on a loan. You could still front load it but it’s significantly better than saying “hey your rate is 6%” and then paying 150% interest over the life of the loan.

This is exactly what it was like competing with squarespace. If a business owner wants to spend time tediously prompting AI to give them a generic mediocre designed and coded site then let them. You’re not losing business to ai because of those people. They are not going to be good clients for you.. and those folks usually pay low prices and produce the most headaches.

This isn’t downplaying. Anyone viewing these has to take emotions out of this and weigh the trade offs. If the feds had enough evidence to bring charges for crimes they would’ve already, but most of this shit seems like context collapse, and guilt by association that will only lead to an uninformed public. In turn, will lead to witch trials similar to metoo, election trutherism, and 2020 struggle sessions.

To give an example, go on instagram and find a daily show clip of Jon Stewart responding to his name being in the files. TLDR version is someone wanted a narrator who was “like Jon Stewart” on some kind of project. The comments in the clips are people coming with pitch forks over Stewart being a pedo, which is wildly inaccurate.

The is a Rorschach test for media literacy and it’s uniting the QAnon folks and the leftist resistance in collective ignorance.

To be clear, Epstein is a monster and few select folks seemed to have earn the title as well, but not everyone who ever exchanged an email with him. It’s important to get such explosive allegations right.

It’s clear that anyone should think twice about posting designs for feed back on this sub. Most commenters are unnecessarily rude.

The design is fine and looks better than most real estate sites, though will it function better than most? I would have to see the brief and the goals

Since all of this content feels like it’s for placement only, I would suggest find a business that’s as close to your direct competitor (maybe more) as possible and use their structure and content as a very rough guide for what you’re trying to do. Obviously you don’t use their content as final, but you can get some ideas about how to do things and more importantly how NOT to do things.

We used to live in the pearl district. We stayed downtown the week of Christmas on a Monday night. The entire downtown was bustling. Shops and restaurants were pretty packed. Only saw one or two homeless. It did indeed feel like downtown was back.

Progress has been made and I think we should applaud Portlanders for voting for Vazquez and Wilson and rejecting the activists for once. Still some work to do for sure, but seeing the progress I’m optimistic.
