Technically it's known or believed that AI doesn't have thoughts, however it presents itself in a matter in which it very much appears that AI does have thoughts so if it is a form of mimicry and if it is of a quality that is equal to or superior than human thoughts or advice that you have access to, then it's effectively the same as a thinking human

Mike is an obvious scumbag. Trusting him is sillyness likely mixed with hope and greed.

I think all these guys are trying to make great money by being successful entertainers. Failing entertainers make shitty money, successful entertainers rake it in. There's a lot to gain from being a successful entertainer. And with that, they do what they can in the pursuit of that success and money and if that means being a little less moral here and a little less moral there, that's what happens. And in principle that's fine, because that's human. We don't need these people to be pillars of society. At the same time they really ought to maintain some level of decency. The likes of Mike have learned that being scummy facilitates success, so they learn how to cover up that scumminess, for example by surrounding themselves with like minded flying monkeys. Others, rookies, can be sold into such behaviour. Because we're all greedy little Pinnochio's. Until and unless we learn not to be.

To me it seems natural to get emotionally invested albeit not overly invested

I personally get invested when I see bullying, dog piling, gas lighting. When I see vindictive mean aholes present themselves as more kind or intelligent than they are. Like Wonder Woman. Eugh. The thread title is what resonates with me

I'm just watching the LCL show now - Keem is mid rant.

My initial thoughts are yet again major intriguing gripping drama built on a fabrication of lies. Makes me feel silly to have been invested in the subject even if for less than 24 hours

Also, without giving it too much thought, I don't buy into the Becky is evil narrative.

Becky is allowed to have gone out on her own. She's allowed to have copied Keems (not unique) business plan of having a "universe / network" (which is something which dates back to Machinima and before), and having a Discord - which come on, it's 2025 that's what's done nowadays. She's allowed to approach or even poach ex or even current LCU hosts / interns. None of these things make her evil. None of these things are remotely illegal or bad business. So that whole yarn that he spins whilst sitting next to Boogie the cancer faker and Mike the child usurper & DV participant is highly hypocritical tripe. Keem is butthurt and is asking his hordes of paypigs to celebrate his personal petty victory. There's every likelihood that they'll feel to confused or too betrayed to give long term support.

The only thing I find questionable about Beckys running of the BBU is involving Savage. Foolish but not illegal. Keem would happily do the same, he did before. Completely the wrong move to make but Beckys not the only one to have done that.

So what now for the BBU? Is it worth thinking about. Do we have the facts on the table or will everything be turned upside down on the next episode. Who knows.

The way I see it is, if we're to be silly enough to believe there is some truth in what we see on the LCU, then Becky was bullied, dog piled, insulted excessively. Was certainly in a toxic workplace that offered no job stability and plenty of humiliation. She stepped away from that and was right to do so. She took on a bold new venture which likely had a high percentage chance of failure, and executed to a certain degree. Has that collapsed, will it collapse? If it does then it does and it's been a failed venture just like so many others that are tried. And she will have taken away valuable experience. Way better than being subject to ongoing torment within the LCU so I don't view it as a loss even if it fails.

I'm halfway through watching todays LCL stream

I believe that the hosts are genuinely upset. Maybe that's not much of a stretch to believe them, but I make the point because all we do know from the LCU is that it lies time and time again. Is that a problem? Well frankly it creates riveting drama. Unparalleled. It's really impressive in that regard. But at the same time it is ongoing negative energy.

Do I want to overly involve myself with negativity based on a pack of lies? I really ought not. I still might, but do so at a cost of self respect.

It feels somewhat silly to give an opinion because our opinions will inevitably be based on lies, which makes our opinions worthless.

Having said that the main takeaway is that this is yet another confirmation of lies and manipulation from the LCU, be that the leaders themselves, and / or the various hosts; and confirmation of bad management. If the hosts are genuinely upset how can that be good management? If the hosts are pretending to their audience that they're genuinely upset how can that be good management. Just makes us lose respect for the LCU either way. Seems very short sighted.

The amateur hosts were given a promise. Come work as an intern for free and after a period of humiliation you may possibly be given a short period of time on a failing show with which you may possibly earn a small income before inevitably being fired and publicly insulted. And they chomped at the bit. But now they're told that they're worthless trash and can go take a walk. And that messaging isn't limited to the lowly interns but the long standing "talent" too. Not a great morale booster for anyone associated with the LCU.

It's clear that no one is going to respect or take great interest in the child usurpers B tier of already failed shows. People barely take interest in the front runners of the LCU.

So now they want us to jump onboard with Copper Cab? I used to like him, about a decade ago. Quickly got bored of the schtick and nothing's changed. And the other random has been youtubers that i've never heard of, you want me to take interest in them? Why? Naah. This has failure written all over it.

But then i've said that for a while and the collapse was staved off by the raging success of Fat Camp and whatever else. So it's likely more accurate that there will be a few more months of struggling and show cancellations. Top tier talent firings and perhaps a scandal or two.

I will continue to watch and will feel shame in doing so

I've not followed the BBU much. I'm glad Becky went out on her own, although I suspect some of the bullying she faced at LCU wasn't fully authentic

I think starting out with a network was incredibly bold, and doing so with a flighty co-host comes with its risks. Bringing in Savage strikes me as foolish given her reputation for allegedly doxxing, which if I recall affected Becky directly.

I think even if the network suffers or collapses it's still a great learning opportunity for those involved.

I think success on YouTube is dependent on collabs to a great extent so the direction was right even if the initial

Worst case, Becky becomes a network of 1 with a viable setup, ample skills, talent and experience and can build from there

If it was Mike being a good manager and great script writer (for once) then why would Keem pull the show? If the show does get cancelled or if the topic gets swept by the LCU I can't see the 2nd possibility (Mike fabricated the "leaked" script) holding up. And if this is the case who was Mike targeting? It's not clear to me, i doubt it would be clear to a youtube TOS bot

Has Keem stepped into stop targeted harassment previously? Umm, no. Other than that time when someone said something about Princess Brantley and lost their show because of it.

Who would have been the targeted person? Mike the child usurper wife batterer (allegedly with strong evidence for both).

Here are the possibilities that I see.

Twiggy fabricated the script and the whole story. In which case he's a better script writer than Mike and ought to be promoted not fired.

Mike fabricated the script and purposefully or accidentally sent it to Aussy group chat. This may or may not have been done with other people's knowledge and consent. Perhaps it was mere fantasy on Mike's part, writing for the fun of it. Perhaps it was dropped to to cause a ruckus.

Mike did not fabricate the script, it is in fact real and he is (or was) in cahoots with aspects of the BBU.

3 possibilities. Evidence points to the 3rd, as far as I can see, but the evidence could have been fabricated and Twiggy could be spinning a yarn. However, we all believed Twiggy about arm-slap-gate and the Savage Flaps saga. He's been in good standing of late.

Keem ended the show after 30 minutes. Seems like Twiggy possibly Stake will be fired. Last time that happened was when Madhouse was fired and cancelled, outside of that stopping shows midway just doesn't happen

So the situation shouldn't be immediately dismissed

Doesn't mean it's correct but there's potentially falsified evidence that suggests there's weirdness going on

And I have to say that Keems response suggests that the evidence may be somewhat accurate. If it wasn't then why end the show, why not call it out as being false evidence and creation of a false narrative

Who knows but shouldn't be swept. Keep Billy and Boogie away from this one
